Heera Moti Trade-In Policy Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
- Only Heera Moti furniture products, including *beds, sofas, TV units, shoe racks, sideboards, and chests of drawers*, are eligible for trade-in.
- The furniture being traded in must be in *paint and upholstery. **Pre-laminate and laminate items* are not eligible for the trade-in program.
Trade-In Value
- Heera Moti offers up to *50% of the original purchase value* as a buyback for the eligible furniture.
- The final buyback value will be determined based on the *condition of the furniture, **age, and **current resale market value*.
Purchase Window
- The trade-in policy is valid for furniture purchased within the *last 7 years* from the date of applying for the trade-in.
- A *valid original purchase receipt* or other proof of purchase must be provided to confirm eligibility.
Condition of Furniture
- The furniture should be in *good condition* with no significant structural damage.
- Minor wear and tear are acceptable, but any *major damage* (e.g., broken parts, deep scratches, torn upholstery) may result in a reduced trade-in value or ineligibility.
New Purchase Requirement
- The trade-in offer is applicable only when purchasing new furniture from Heera Moti. The trade-in value will be adjusted against the price of the new product(s).
Inspection Process
- Once a trade-in request is initiated, a representative from Heera Moti will conduct a *visual inspection* of the furniture either via *photos* or an *in-person assessment*.
- Heera Moti reserves the right to *reject* trade-ins that do not meet the condition standards set by the company.
Logistics
- Heera Moti will arrange for the *pickup* of the old furniture at no additional cost within the areas they service.
- The pickup will take place at the same time as the *delivery of the new furniture*.
Refund or Adjustment
- The trade-in value will not be given in cash; it will be adjusted against the price of the new furniture being purchased.
Non-Transferability
- The trade-in offer is *non-transferable* and can only be availed by the original purchaser of the furniture.
Modification and Termination
- Heera Moti reserves the right to *modify or terminate* the trade-in program at any time without prior notice. However, requests already approved before such changes will be honored.
Tax Adjustments in Trade-In Value
- The trade-in value will be based on *up to 50% of the original purchase value, **excluding taxes*.
- Taxes (such as *GST) that were applied at the time of the original purchase will be **deducted* when calculating the final trade-in value.
- The final buyback amount is determined by considering the *condition, **age, and **market resale value, along with the **reduction of taxes* from the initial purchase price.
